The FLACDC 2013 Summit, ‘Community Development – Back to Basics’ was definitely the place to be for 2 full days of informative workshops, peer exchanges and cross-sector networking. After our Welcome to Tampa from City Councilwoman Ms. Lisa Montelione and Ms. Chloe Coney, District Director for Congresswoman Castor, participants enjoyed general sessions and workshops covering organizing and community engagement; real estate development; organizational readiness; using social media effectively; and creating cross-sector partnerships.
